Georgia Judge Scott McAfee Dismisses Several of Willis’ Bogus Election Charges Against Trump

Georgia Judge Scott McAfee has dropped six charges against former President Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants in the politically charged Georgia election interference case.

McAfee cited insufficient evidence of “solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer.” While the indictment was not entirely dismissed, McAfee’s decision highlights the need for detailed legal elements.

Trump’s defense counsel, Steve Sadow, welcomed the ruling, emphasizing Trump’s innocence. McAfee’s forthcoming decision on Fani Willis’ disqualification case, involving her relationship with Nathan Wade, adds to the legal complexity. McAfee aims to deliver a thorough and timely verdict amid intense scrutiny over the case’s implications.
