Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) faces a notable challenge within her own party as Marty Dolan, a Wall Street investor with a Harvard MBA, enters the race for New York’s 14th Congressional District seat held by AOC.

Dolan, previously running in another district, aims to tackle NYC’s issues, criticizing what he calls “radical” policies.

Dubbing his campaign the “Hamilton Plan v. 2.0,” Dolan seeks to address income inequality and policy discrepancies. AOC, known for progressive stances, rose to fame after defeating Joe Crowley in the 2018 primary.
