Rep. Rashida Tlaib Refuses to Condemn ‘Death to America’ Chants

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a member of “The Squad,” declined to condemn “de*** to America” chants from a recent rally in her district.

The chants, along with “de*** to Israel,” were part of an anti-Israel protest in Dearborn, Michigan.

When approached by Fox Business reporter Hillary Vaughn in the U.S. Capitol, Tlaib repeatedly refused to denounce the chants, stating, “I don’t talk to Fox News!” Vaughn pressed for clarity, but Tlaib accused the network of using racist tropes against her community.

Despite the outcry online, the Democratic Party has been reluctant to condemn the violent rhetoric. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also dodged questions about the chants, emphasizing the importance of peaceful protest but condemning violent rhetoric.
