Arrest Warrant Issued for Pennsylvania State Rep. Kevin Boyle Amidst Controversy

Pennsylvania State Police have issued an arrest warrant for Democratic State Rep. Kevin Boyle for allegedly violating a restraining order against his ex-wife twice.

Boyle, serving his eighth term, represents District 172 covering parts of Montgomery County and Northeast Philadelphia.

His office has not commented on the warrant. Previously, Boyle wrote about his mental health struggles and was involved in a viral video incident at a bar where he appeared intoxicated and threatened staff.

Pennsylvania Democrats are divided over handling his upcoming election, with the state party supporting challenger Sean Dougherty. Boyle’s brother, Brendan, is a Democratic Congressman.
