Avenatti Considers Testifying Against Trump in NY Case

Michael Avenatti, former attorney for Stormy Daniels, has revealed he’s been in touch with Donald Trump’s defense team and is open to testifying against his ex-client.

Currently serving a prison sentence for various crimes, Avenatti claims Trump’s lawyers have been in contact with him for nearly a year.

The case against Trump in the New York Supreme Court revolves around alleged falsification of business records related to payments made to bury negative stories, including those from Stormy Daniels, during the 2016 election.

Avenatti argues the case is politically motivated to prevent Trump’s potential reelection. If convicted, Trump could face up to four years in prison, with expected appeals.
