Elon Musk to Fund First Amendment Campaign Amid NPR Controversy

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced plans to finance a national signature campaign supporting the First Amendment.

Musk’s announcement came after NPR CEO Katherine Maher’s remarks on “truth” and free speech drew criticism.

NPR recently suspended its longtime editor, Uri Berliner, for highlighting the outlet’s liberal bias. Berliner, who resigned in response, emphasized Maher’s divisive leadership and media bias on key issues.

He also highlighted NPR’s lack of ideological diversity among its staff. Maher’s past comments and affiliations further fueled controversy, with Musk and Senator Ted Cruz criticizing her remarks as divisive and extreme.
