‘All Glory to God’: Tim Tebow Gets the Best News of His Career Live on Air

Before Monday’s college football national championship game, ESPN personalities surprised Tim Tebow with the news of his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Joe Tessitore listed this year’s inductees but initially omitted Tebow. After sharing highlights of Tebow’s career, Tessitore congratulated him, and fellow hosts joined in the celebration. Tebow, who led the Florida Gators to national championships in 2007 and 2009 and won the Heisman Trophy in 2007, expressed his gratitude.

He reflected on playing for something bigger than the game and highlighted his foundation’s work fighting human trafficking and supporting children with life-threatening illnesses.
