Country Music Academy Removes Garth Brooks from Member List

Garth Brooks is no longer a voting member of the Academy of Country Music.

Inside sources confirm that Brooks has been removed from the elite club after a vote by the Board of Governors.

The decision, once final, will mean Brooks loses his voting rights and membership benefits, including discounts and perks. This is only the second time a member has been ousted, the first being Taylor Swift.
