S1. At A Pennsylvania Event Trump Was Shot In The Ear But His Campaign Claims He’s Okay

A few days before accepting the Republican nomination, former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally.

Shot in the ear, Trump was quickly surrounded by Secret Service and rushed to safety. The FBI identified the shooter as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20. One attendee died, and two were seriously injured. The investigation is ongoing.
