Meet Alex Dodman from Essex, UK. Last summer, he built a swimming pool in his garden, saving thousands by sourcing materials on Facebook and doing all the work himself, spending just $10,000.

Alex’s DIY passion extended to renovating his new home with his partner Sarah and their two children. Inspired by an internet video, he quickly began planning and building the pool despite Covid delays and unexpected challenges.
