Tragic Accident: Woman Loses Life After Texting and Driving

A 32-year-old woman, Courtney Sanford, tragically lost her life in a head-on collision on a US highway moments after updating her Facebook status and posting selfies. At 8:33 a.m., she posted, “The happy song makes me so HAPPY.” By 8:34 a.m., police received a call about the crash.

Courtney, driving alone on Interstate 85 in North Carolina, wasn’t impaired by alcohol or drugs. The crash was due to distracted driving as she engaged with social media while driving.
