True Events That Made People Question Everything and Everyone

Dad lost his job at the bank when I was 13. We were so poor that sometimes I went to school without food. One day, on my way home, I saw Dad in a fancy red car with a blonde woman. The next day, I waited at the same spot and saw them again in the same car. I followed them and saw the woman hugging my dad. That night, I confronted him. He turned to me, and I saw tears in his eyes. He said, “Son, I’ve been working as a driving instructor to help our family.”

I asked why he and Mom didn’t tell me. She said they didn’t want to worry me. I knew Dad was already working two jobs, and his health was not great. They didn’t want me to stress even more. My parents were trying to protect me.

I will always remember them as the best parents ever. They taught me a valuable lesson: don’t judge quickly and don’t jump to conclusions.
