Shelter rescues neglected dog covered in three pounds of matted fur — he looks completely different after makeover
Many stray dogs suffer from matted fur, causing them distress.
On July 16, the South Plains SPCA rescued a severely neglected 6-year-old dog, later named Matt, whose fur was matted for five years.
After sedation, three pounds of fur were removed. Despite his condition, Matt is recovering and enjoying a new lease on life. He will be available for adoption soon.
