My Husband Refused to Take Photos of Me on Our Vacation — His Reason Shocked Me, but My Revenge Left Him in Tears

Hi everyone, Hannah here. I need to share something difficult. I’m a 38-year-old mom of two and have been married to Luke for nearly a decade. Recently, we went on a trip to Mexico that shocked me deeply.

During the trip, Luke refused to take photos of me and acted distant. I found cruel comments about my weight in his group chat with friends, which devastated me.

I posted pictures of myself on Facebook for support, which I received. Then I found out I had inherited money from an uncle. Luke apologized but suggested I use the money to lose weight. That was the final straw. I told him I wanted a divorce.

He begged me to stay, revealing he was more interested in my money than our relationship. I left, feeling relief and sadness, ready to focus on my happiness and my kids.

I started working out, took up new hobbies, and felt stronger. When I saw Luke again, I realized I was free to live on my terms.
