BREAKING: Kari Lake Gets Game-Changing Boost On Campaign Trail

U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake earned a fresh round of conservative endorsements on Monday, notching approvals from Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) in her Arizona bid.

The Daily Caller reports that Lake will announce both nods on Monday.

“Kari Lake is MAGA to her core and cannot be bought by the establishment. I am proud to endorse her for the United States Senate in Arizona. I am very much look forward to watching her shake up the halls of power,” Gaetz told the Caller.

“Kari Lake will go to DC to shake things up, and that’s exactly the kind of leadership that Arizona needs in the United States Senate. I am proud to endorse Kari Lake for the United States Senate because she has the policies, the drive, and desire to defeat the Washington War Machine and restore American liberties,” added Sen. Paul.

Lake thanked both men for their support and said she hopes to model their fights for conservative principles if elected.

“I am thankful to have the endorsement of America First warriors Senator Paul and Rep. Gaetz. They have been champions for fiscal responsibility, liberty, and fighting against the Washington War machine. I look forward to working with them to implement President Trump’s agenda,” Lake said in response to the two endorsements.

Others who have thrown their weight behind Lake’s candidacy include former President Donald Trump, Senators John Barrasso (R-WY), Tom Cotton (R-AR), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), Roger Marshall (R-KS), and Tommy Tuberville (R-AL). Her biggest endorsement in the House has come from Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who added to her conservative credentials during contentious hearings with the presidents of Harvard, MIT, and UPenn over antisemitism on campus.

Since launching her campaign in October, Lake has lived up to the hype, sparring with her likely Democratic rival in a bitter airport encounter while traversing the nation to bless other conservatives with her own endorsement. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) has not announced whether she will seek a second term.

Cook Political Report rates the Arizona Senate election as a toss-up, meaning both Democrats and Republicans will likely spend heavily to win a seat that may determine control of the upper chamber. Democrats hold a slim majority and have relied on Vice President Kamala Harris to serve as a tiebreaker more than any predecessor in history.

The fight over illegal immigration is expected to play a pivotal role in the contest as some of the highest-trafficked routes by migrants flow through Arizona’s southern border. Lake has accused her rival, Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), of exacerbating the crisis by supporting President Joe Biden’s expanded asylum status programs for refugees.

Lake made national headlines last month when she revealed a secret recording of a conversation she had with former Arizona GOP Chair Jeff DeWitt, who was caught telling her that “very powerful people” from “the East” wanted her out of the race. DeWitt resigned as a result of the ensuing fallout.
