Republicans Propose Renaming Dulles Airport to Trump International Airport

Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives led by Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) have introduced legislation to rename Washington, D.C.’s Dulles International Airport as the Trump International Airport in honor of former President Donald J. Trump.

Co-sponsored by several representatives, Reschenthaler highlighted Trump’s leadership as a symbol of freedom and strength.

The bill mandates the official name change and requires all references to reflect the new designation. Comparisons were drawn to the renaming of the Ronald Reagan International Airport in 1998.

Dulles, a major airport with significant passenger traffic, would join the capital’s landmarks honoring former presidents. Reschenthaler cited Trump’s achievements, emphasizing the proposal’s tribute to his presidency.
