Biden Defends Memory Amidst Claims of Forgetting Son’s Death

In February 2024, after Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents surfaced, Biden held a memorable press conference.

The report suggested Biden struggled to recall when his son Beau had died, a claim Biden vehemently disputed.

During the presser, Biden angrily defended his memory, stating, “How in the hell dare he raise that!” and called the question about Beau’s death inappropriate.

Trying to demonstrate his memory, Biden mentioned a rosary Beau gave him but couldn’t recall its origin. Despite the awkward moment, Biden emphasized he didn’t need reminders about his son’s passing, asserting, “I don’t need anyone to remind me when he passed away.”
