Biden’s DOJ Finds ‘Inconsistencies’ in Grant Funds Awarded to Fulton County DA

The Washington Free Beacon revealed inconsistencies in federal grant funds awarded to Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis by Joe Biden’s Justice Department.

Two years ago, a whistleblower alerted Willis about misusing the grant for “swag,” computers, and travel.

The Justice Department acknowledged discrepancies in Fulton County’s reporting regarding the grant, intended for a Center for Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention in Atlanta. Despite the grant closing in September 2023 without the center opening, details on the inconsistencies remain undisclosed.

The Justice Department is working with Willis to correct these issues, while the House Judiciary Committee investigates. Rep. Jim Jordan has demanded Willis submit related records, warning of potential contempt charges for non-compliance.
