Trump Leads Hypothetical Race Against Swift and Kennedy in UMass Lowell Poll; Dead Heat with Biden Emerges

In a recent poll by UMass Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion, former President Donald Trump led a hypothetical electoral race against pop star Taylor Swift and independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Trump garnered 43% support, with Swift at 26% and Kennedy at 12%.

Swift’s appeal was strongest among Democrats and liberals but minimal among Republicans.

At 34, Swift is too young to run for president, yet this didn’t deter her hypothetical supporters.

The poll also showed a dead heat between Trump and President Joe Biden, both at 42%. Party loyalty was high, with 84% of Republicans for Trump and 86% of Democrats for Biden. Economic concerns were prevalent, and most supported abortion rights and a ceasefire in Gaza.
